Stock Monitoring

In the event where the financing party does not require a CMA facility, we can provide Stock Monitoring Agreements.

Monitoring takes place to oversee the stock through periodic inspections to measure the quantities released against stock taken in. This process gives assurances of the assets under care and also enables proactive care and supervision of the assets

Pre-Trade Inspections

We carry out due diligence on behalf of the financing company by verifying the existence of the stock in quantity, the quality of the stock as well as associated risks such as warehousing audits and security. We also perform on site or laboratory testing /grading of agricultural and minerals resources.

Integrity Testing

We provide specialised non destructive testing of fuels, oils and minerals using sophisticated testing equipment.

The data analysis from this testing provides vital information to financiers during the structuring of trade finance.

Surveying

Warehouse Surveying involves the practice of conducting in- depth inspections on warehousing and related infrastructure on behalf of the financier. The report considers factors such as building compliance, security, locality and environmental factors. The surveys are customised to ensure that risks and opportunities are specific to the asset under collateral.

Route Survey services involves the assessment of roads and rails networks and its conditions and infrastructure, which are vital for successful trade. These services are provided to Governmental transport departments, logistics companies, insurers and financiers of trade assets, with a view to proactively migitate risks associated with goods in transit.

Discharge and Transfer Supervision

Inspectors oversee the assets proper care and control from vessels containers, rails or road transport to the warehouse.

Our processes help mitigate financial losses as a result of theft, spillages and stock shrinkages by ensuring the overall intake or discharge is managed according to standard operating procedures

Collateral Management

Under Collateral Management Agreements ( CMA), we take full custody of the assets pledged from the moment it is financed until final release from the storage facility.

Our Inspectors are on site to manage the assets during intake, storage and subsequent release, on behalf of the financing party.
